Shipping policy

We process and ship all orders Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Order Processing

  • Orders placed by 12:00 PM ET are processed same day

  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM ET ship the following business day

  • Orders placed on weekends ship the following Monday

  • Orders placed on holidays ship the following business day

Shipping Options & Rates

  • Economy (5–8 business days) – $10 — free on orders over $50

  • Standard (3–4 business days) – $17

  • Express (1–2 business days) – $30

Delivery timelines begin once your order has shipped.

Important — Express Orders

Express orders must be placed by 12:00 PM ET, Monday–Friday to be processed and shipped that day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM ET, or on weekends and holidays, ship the next business day. Express shipping reflects carrier transit time from the date your order ships — it does not guarantee delivery by a specific morning time. Delivery timeframes vary by location and carrier.

Planning Ahead

If your dog has a procedure scheduled, we recommend ordering at least 3–5 days in advance. This gives us time to process your order and the carrier time to deliver — without the last-minute stress.

Weather & Carrier Delays

Economy and standard shipments may occasionally be delayed due to weather or carrier issues outside our control. We’ll do our best to keep you informed.

Shipping Carriers

All shipments are handled via FedEx. At this time, we do not offer alternative carrier options.

  • PO Boxes

We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses at this time.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.

Lost or Delayed Packages

If your package appears lost or is significantly delayed, we recommend first contacting FedEx directly with your tracking number. If the carrier confirms the package is lost, please email us at suitup@recoverpetcare.com and we’ll be happy to issue a refund.

Returns & Restocking Fee

A $10 restocking fee applies to eligible returns. Because the DogCover is a medical-style garment, we cannot accept returns on opened or used suits. For questions about your order, contact us at suitup@recoverpetcare.com.
