Our ReCover journey began with Duke II. Duke II was a happy, energetic dog. Unfortunately, when he got cancer, he developed horrible sores all over his body. We felt helpless. We didn’t know how to protect him, while still being able to give him love and hugs, and maintain his mobility. So we improvised. We put him in a children’s t-shirt. We tried to make it comfortable for him. We tried to make it fit properly. It wasn’t enough. We never wanted pets and their people to go through such a helpless experience so we got to work and created ReCover.
